Dr. Huan Ma comes from a long family line
of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors and completed his PhD
in acupuncture and internal medicine at Tianjin University of TCM. He
has served as the supervising physician at the Acupuncture and Chinese
Affiliated Outpatient Clinic of Tianjin University and was a contributing
author to Integration of TCM and Western Medicine Emergency and
Practical Internal Medicine. He is a Diplomate of Acupuncture
certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture
and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical
Practice. Dr. Ma is dedicated to teaching and developing acupuncture
in America and has served as Associate Dean of Acupuncture Clinical
Services at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where he still
works as a full-time professor. Dr. Ma is a renowned specialist in pain
management and in the treatment of the most difficult and complex of
medical cases.
Tao
Gong completed her bachelor’s and master’s of acupuncture at
Tianjin University of TCM. She was a staff physician at the Tianjin
Internal Medicine Clinic and has served as a clinical supervisor and
professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where she still
works as a full-time professor. Dr. Gong has extensive clinical experience
in treating gynecological issues and providing cosmetic acupuncture
treatments. She is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National
Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
Jessica
Brown graduated with a master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from
Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota. She
grew up in North Dakota and studied cultural anthropology and biology
with an interest in integrative medicine at North Dakota State University
in Fargo. Jessica completed a study abroad program at Tianjin University
of TCM in China in 2009. She is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified
by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical
Practice.
Andrew
Fritsch graduated in 2008 with a master’s degree in Oriental
Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington,
Minnesota. He grew up in Wisconsin and studied natural resource economics
at Duke University in North Carolina. He worked in Denver for five years
before moving to Minnesota to practice acupuncture. Andy will be relocating
to Norway in the near future to practice Chinese Medicine. He is a Diplomate
of Acupuncture certified by the National Commission for the Certification
of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Minnesota
Board of Medical Practice.
